Caroline brings more than a decade of leadership experience in operations management, project management, risk, and crisis response to her role as Office and Communications Manager at MatSu Valley Planning for Transportation. With a relationship-centered approach to her work, she is excited to support MVP's mission of building a safe, connected, and community-centered transportation system across the Mat-Su region.
Prior to joining MVP, Caroline built her career across nonprofit and private-sector organizations, working closely with government agencies, local leaders, business partners, and community stakeholders to advance shared goals and strengthen organizational impact. Her professional background spans executive leadership, public-facing communications, incident response coordination, and strategic operations, experience that has sharpened her ability to anticipate challenges, adapt to changing conditions, and build systems designed for long-term success. She has a particular talent for translating complex information into clear, actionable next steps and believes that effective solutions are grounded in trust, collaboration, and community.
Caroline holds a Bachelor's degree in Community Health from Montana State University and a Master of Science in Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of Utah.
A proud Alaska returnee, Caroline and her husband are thrilled to be back in the state, reconnecting with the landscapes and communities they love. Outside of work, you'll find them exploring Alaska's mountains and trails with their pup, embracing all that the Mat-Su Valley has to offer.
