Public Comment FAQ's

  • Whenever MVP releases a draft plan or major update. Comment opportunities are posted on the website and shared through MVP’s public notices.

  • Typically 30 days, unless otherwise noted in the plan’s announcement.

  • Yes. All comments are reviewed and summarized for the Policy Board and Technical Committee before final adoption.

  • Yes. Public comment time is included in every Policy Board and Technical Committee meeting.

  • MVP publishes a summary of comments and responses in final plans to show how input shaped the outcome.

  • Yes. Anonymous comments are accepted, though including contact information helps staff follow up or respond directly.
